Collection: Scolymia Coral

Scolymia are easy corals to keep and are best kept on the sandbed. It is important to ensure however that they don't get covered with sand. They do not have any sweeper tentacles and will not harm other corals.

They are fairly slow growing but will accept almost all meaty foods and coral foods designed for LPS corals.

Button Scolymia are a smaller variety of Scolymia. The advantage to their smaller size is that their colors will remain much more compressed giving them an overall more colorful appearance. Scolymia, and Button Corals, are a much loved centerpiece for many reef tanks.
